The Oldman Lozier is a car with some great heritage. Besides the tremendous originality of this 1914 Lozier Model 77 five passenger touring, it completed the Portland, Maine to Portland, Oregon Transcontinental Tour in 1985 under the ownership of Mr. DeAngelis. A Peerless Engine...Apart

Some projects start as a ground up rebuild and other projects become a ground up rebuild. The work being done by the Lederer’s on their 1910 Peerless Model 27 would fall firmly into the latter category. This project started with replacing a broken valve spring, escalated into a complete tear down of the engine to do a thorough inspection, and culminated in finding a crack in the crankshaft. Once it was this far apart, they developed a bad case of “while-we’re-at-it” and decided to restore the cosmetics of the car as well. The machining of the engine components has been all completed and now it’s ready for reassembly!
